Get Ready for the 2021 Tax Season

As the 2021 tax season gears up, we’ll help ease the way with a mailing schedule for tax forms and some suggestions for managing the process. Let’s dive in.

Mail Dates and Tax Form:

We’ll send out the 1099 Composite for eligible accounts on February 15, 2022. And don’t worry about providing copies to the IRS; we do that as part of our reporting.

Your 1099 will be mailed to your address on file. You can also access a secure copy directly on our trading platform under the Additional Services menu and go to Statements and Confirms.

We want to prevent any mailing delays, so if you would like to update your mailing address, please go to our trading platform under the Additional Services menu and complete the Account Update section.

Keep an eye out for Corrected Form(s) 1099:

It happens. Sometimes after we’ve already mailed our initial 1099s, security issues send out updated information based on income reclassification. In that case, we’ll have to send out a corrected tax form. But don’t worry, you can reach us at the contact information below, and we're happy to assist you.

We're ready to help. You can reach us at support@eoption.com or call us at 1-888-793-5333 (select option 2). If outside the U.S., please call 1-847-375-6151.
